‘Maestro’ Ilaiyaraaja’s English song ‘Come, Free Me ‘ from the upcoming English film ‘A Beautiful Breakup’ was released on June 21, World Music Day on ‘Ilaiyaraaja Official’. A Beautiful Breakup is a Romantic Thriller English language film written and directed by Ajithvasan Uggina starring Krish Mudragada, and Matylda in lead roles.
The first look was launched at the prestigious Cannes 2022 international film festival. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s work for ‘A Beautiful Breakup’ have elevated the image of the movie to a large extent. He has created great original soundtracks at the BOW TIE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA for the film.
Apart from winning the best background score at The 12th Dadasaheb Phalke Film Festival Awards, A Beautiful Breakup also received the award in the category of Best Visual Effects (VFX) for Srikanth Kandaala and was also nominated for the best film. It also won some other international film festivals.
‘A Beautiful Breakup’ is set in London. It is about a couple, Krisha and Ruby, who are in live-in relationship. After a brief time together they decide to breakup and they plan to make the closure a beautiful one by doing their most favourite thing, travel. They reaches India and then their life changes altogether. It is a cinematic experience that combines elements such as romance, thriller and horror.
KR Gunashekar is the cinematographer and editing by the Karnataka State Award Winner Srikanth Gowda. The Executive producer is Marco Robinson, the producer of ‘Legacy of Lies’. V G Rajen who worked on sound effects (KGF Fame) is also a Karnataka state award winner. PR and Marketing is done by Jishnu Lakshman, designs by Ananthu and Tamil PRO by Guna.
