Tiyaan is directed by Jiyen Krishnakumar starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Indrajith Sukumaran, Murali Gopy, Shine Ananya, Tom Chacko, Padmapriya Janakiraman and Ravi Singh.
Script is written by Murali Gopy. Music is composed by Gopi Sundar while cinematography is handled by Satheesh Kurup. The filming started on 27 July 2016 at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The film is produced by Haneef Mohammed under the banner of Red Rose creations for a whooping budget of around 20 Crores. The impressive first look poster is released. The poster shows Prithviraj looking over a deserted city and has a tagline “When miracles meet man, Epics are born”.
Director Jiyen Krishnakumar says about Padmapriya’s character – ‘Her character’s presence is felt right from the beginning of the story, though she appears only from a major juncture in the plot. The character is responsible for some major turn of events too.’
Prithviraj says about the script ‘Couldn’t have asked for a better character from one of the greatest writers of my generation!’
